Responsibilities
Design, build, test, and deploy backend services and APIs that support core platform functionality
Develop and maintain Java-based microservices, with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability
Partner with product managers and other engineers to translate business requirements into well-designed technical solutions
Build and maintain RESTful APIs used by internal teams and external partners
Work with databases and persistence layers to ensure data integrity and performance
Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared engineering standards and best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performing root cause analysis as needed
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes to ensure efficient and reliable releases
Help shape the long-term technical direction for maintaining and scaling backend systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of backend software engineering experience
Strong experience with Java and modern backend frameworks (such as Spring Boot)
Experience building and supporting microservices and APIs
Familiarity with relational databases and ORM frameworks (such as Hibernate or JPA)
Experience writing well-tested, maintainable code and participating in code reviews
Comfortable working in distributed systems and production environments
Enjoy collaborating closely with cross-functional partners in a team-oriented environment
Interested in building and supporting systems at scale and solving complex technical challenges
