Responsibilities
Provides project management and leadership for project and client personnel responsible for Environmental Remediation, Demolition, Waste Handling & Packaging and Site Restoration for closure
Knowledgeable and experienced with environmental laws and regulations including contract specific requirements, local, state and federal laws
Well versed in OSHA and EM-385-1-1 Health and Safety requirements and effective implementation
Responsible for project planning, determining means/methods and strategies for performing all work and will work with applicable managers and SME’s to ensure requirements are incorporated and executed
Successful management of project costs, schedule, change orders and billing
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
B.S. degree in engineering, science, or related technical field (preferred)
Strong computer skills and the ability to use various computer programs on a daily basis including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
Ability to travel as necessary to manage projects
10 years of experience supervising and managing projects (both radiological and no radiological) related to environmental remediation, demolition and hazardous materials
Ability to anticipate, investigate and resolve project production issues. This includes client complaint resolution, project health and safety issues, and project personnel administration
30-hour OSHA Construction Safety
40-hour HAZWOPER plus 8-hour Supervisor
Preferred
40-hour Asbestos Abatement Worker plus 8-hour Supervisor
