Responsibilities
Ensure safe working conditions in office and adherence to OSHA regulations
Ensure work space and office conditions maintain clean, professional appearance
Maintain databases to ensure accurate customer, vendor information is entered and current
Build computerized distribution lists
Create customer inventory activity reports
Create and distribute daily warehouse reports of material to ship
Receive products into inventory; monitor inventory, report inventory levels to customers
Assess customer needs, answer incoming calls and address complaints
Schedule all inbound and outbound truck and rail activities within the system(s)
Schedule and confirm appointments as needed
Verify and confirm pick up and/or delivery of customer product
Dispatch orders, provide paperwork and instructions to drivers, and vendors
Customer invoicing
EDI/ ASN transmissions and tracking
Coordinate and communicate with warehouse employees, other departments and divisions
Record incidents, accidents, service failures, claims
Participate in cross training and continuing education functions as needed to stay informed with company and industry trends, or as requested by management
Participate in meetings and on committees as requested
ALL OTHER DUTIES AND PROJECTS AS ASSIGNED
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
Must be literate in Microsoft Office software programs and be able to type a minimum of 35 works per minute
Preferred
Associate Degree in related field is preferred
One year work history in similar role and environment is preferred
