Community Development Intern

P1FCU is seeking a Community Development Intern who will provide administrative support to the Community Development team. The intern will assist with planning, organizing, and executing events, gaining hands-on experience in community partnerships and event processes.

Responsibilities

Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed or scheduled
Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
Problem solving and decision-making skills
Handle daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of department activities
Setup, take down, and work events to facilitate their success
Update spreadsheets and inventories
Assist in scheduling and coordinating events and supplies
Completing general tasks, as directed

Required

Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed or scheduled
Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations

Handle daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of department activities

Update spreadsheets and inventories
Assist in scheduling and coordinating events and supplies
Completing general tasks, as directed
Lifting 70-80 pounds (items include misting tent, canopies, coolers, tables, and other miscellaneous equipment)
Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, etc.)
Sit for extended periods of time
Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc
Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers
Reach keyboards
Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.)
Extensive local travel, this is a driving position and a company vehicle is provided
Adequate auto insurance for driving while conducting company business
Maintain a valid driver's license
Scheduling will revolve around events and other business needs including weekends

Preferred

Detail oriented and organized
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
Ability to problem solve independently and in a team environment
