Ground Support Engineering Manager
The Boeing Company is seeking a Ground Support Engineering Manager to join the Space Vehicle Design Integration Organization in El Segundo, CA. This role involves managing the tool engineering design and fabrication team, overseeing engineering staff, and ensuring the execution of tooling design and mechanical engineering activities for satellite programs.

Responsibilities
Manage engineering and technical staff performing mechanical and structural tool engineering across programs
Plan, acquire, and manage resources for projects and processes; provide technical direction
Lead process improvements and corrective actions, including RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) activities
Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, deliverables, and processes
Conduct performance reviews, manage compensation recommendations, and mentor and coach employees
Recruit, develop, and motivate staff to grow the organization’s technical depth and breadth to support sustained LRBP
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering
10 years of technical engineering experience
3 years of technical managerial leadership experience
Experience working with ground support equipment, and/or tooling engineering
This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Preferred
Experience leading or managing engineering teams
Experience mentoring, coaching, guiding, and leading teams
Overall knowledge of spacecraft tooling
