Cancer Program Development Specialist - Atrium Health Charlotte

Responsibilities
Develops and implements comprehensive cancer focused educational and awareness programming in a community setting
Works closely with internal and external partners to identify and meet cancer education and prevention needs within identified communities in effort to mitigate cancer risk and identify disease at an early, treatable stage
Executes community programming with a specific sensitivity/cultural competence to the unique needs and circumstances of medically underserved populations across the catchment
Builds access equity connections beyond the oncology/health spectrum, through targeted assessment and resource navigation to ensure no one is lost to follow-up
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Public Health required, Public Relations, Social Work or Nursing
Valid state vehicle operator's license
Preferred
Masters preferred
Oncology experience and bilingual skills preferred
