High Voltage Hardware Engineer

They are seeking a High Voltage Hardware Engineer to lead the design and development of Power Electronics Hardware for electrified military vehicles, ensuring performance and efficiency improvements.

Responsibilities
Key member of a team directly responsible for the design and development of the High Voltage hardware for GDLS’s current and future platforms
Point of contact for programs to interface with for use of high voltage hardware on their platforms
Assist with management of cost and schedule for programs integrating this high voltage hardware suite
Responsible for the delivery of HV hardware products based on unique program schedules and quantity needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years related engineering experience
Familiarity in Power Electronics Topologies, Design and Controls
Familiarity in high voltage DC power distribution topologies, design, and safety protocols
Familiar with Hardware Realization of Advance Controls (Target Hardware: FPGA and DSP)
Experience with Inverter Power-Stage Design and Controls
Experience with Maturing Prototype Hardware and Controls Strategies to Production Levels
Experience with Power-Stage PCB layout
Strong communication, organization and prioritization skills
High level of interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with programs and technical team
This position will require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance. (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance)
Ability to travel when needed, minimal travel required for this role
