Responsibilities

Assist in preparing, reviewing and summarizing legal documents and contracts
Conduct legal research involving advanced and complex issues
Work autonomously in a litigation support role
Assist in the preparation of cases for both nonjury and jury trials and other hearings

Required

Associates degree in Legal Studies or related discipline with at least 12 hours of legal course work such as civil trial procedures, legal research and writing, ethics and introduction to law
At least two years of paralegal experience
OR Bachelor's Degree in a related field with listed course work
At least six months of litigation or transactional law experience
Experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year for year basis
Must type accurately at a rate of approximately 50 words per minute
Must possess a valid driver's license
Proof of United States Citizenship/Authorization to Work in the United States as established by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986 is a condition of employment
Pre-employment drug testing is required
