Desktop Support Technician

Responsibilities
Provide advanced Tier 2–3 desktop support in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
Deliver hands-on and remote technical assistance across Windows and macOS platforms
Support end users with hardware, software, imaging, deployment, and troubleshooting
Administer Active Directory, device provisioning, and workstation lifecycle management
Work with MacOS and JAMF for device management
Support service operations through ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
Set up workstations and peripherals, provide technology support, and perform preventive maintenance
Conduct emergency break/fix repairs and maintain inventory documentation
Exhibit strong customer-facing skills and work independently with limited direction
Support faculty, staff, and end users in instructional or enterprise environments
Serve as an escalation point for complex desktop and technology issues
Qualification
Required
Advanced Tier 2–3 desktop support experience
Hands-on and remote technical assistance across Windows and macOS platforms
Support for end users with hardware, software, imaging, deployment, and troubleshooting
Active Directory administration experience
Device provisioning experience
Workstation lifecycle management experience
Experience with MacOS and JAMF for device management
Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
Workstation and peripheral setup experience
Technology support experience
Preventive maintenance experience
Emergency break/fix repairs experience
Inventory documentation experience
Strong customer-facing skills
Ability to work independently with limited direction
Experience supporting faculty, staff, and end users in instructional or enterprise environments
Fully onsite availability in Columbus, OH
