Technical Program Manager, Cloud Capacity Planning, AI/ML

Responsibilities
Coordinate capacity planning activities for Google Cloud AI/ML portfolios and lead regular review meetings to align business objectives with technical capabilities
Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Operations teams to ensure a smooth transition for customers migrating their workloads to Google Cloud
Design and implement capacity planning processes to improve cost-effectiveness and performance, while proactively monitoring for and mitigating bottlenecks to minimize service disruptions
Analyze usage patterns and maintain Supply-Demand Match (SDM) models to build long-term demand forecasts that anticipate resource needs for long-lead-time products
Partner with engineering teams to design and implement automation that delivers operational excellence and reduces manual toil
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
10 years of experience in technical program management or managing cross-functional projects
Experience in capacity planning, supply chain management, or infrastructure deployment
Experience in data modeling, trend analysis, forecasting, or data analytics
Experience leading regular review meetings with cross-functional stakeholders to align business objectives with technical capabilities
Experience in software engineering, systems architecture, or a related technical role
Preferred
8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
Experience managing technical projects within the infrastructure and cloud domains
