Responsibilities
Take ownership of the mission-critical landscape of financial applications
Lead the IT Financial Applications team, acting as the primary technology partner to Accounting and Finance leaders
Guide architecture and configuration, steer the team through complex enhancements, and remain close enough to the detail to roll up your sleeves when needed
Own key external relationships, managing vendors, influencing roadmaps, and ensuring delivery aligns with business priorities
Ensure audit readiness and compliance, from financial year audits to user access and change management controls
Qualification
Required
Background in accounting or finance (through hands-on experience, formal study, or both)
Deep expertise in financial applications, particularly NetSuite
Proven ability to design and implement changes in complex, live environments
Experience leading globally distributed teams
Ability to build trust remotely
Capability to create clarity amid complexity
Comfortable sitting with finance leaders and translating business needs into technical solutions
Pragmatic approach, willing to dive into configuration or problem-solving when needed
