Responsibilities
Design, configure, and manage Cisco ACI multi-tenant network environments to support the CIAT system
Configure and maintain Cisco IOS/IOS-XE-based switches and routers to ensure network stability and performance
Implement and oversee Cisco Firepower-based firewalls to safeguard network security
Administer and support Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control and security policies
Utilize VMware virtualization technologies, including configuring and managing virtual switches and networks
Implement and maintain ACI Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) network integrations to support system operations
Automate routine network tasks and configurations using scripting languages such as Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, and Python
Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures
Collaborate effectively with team members to resolve technical issues and share knowledge across projects
Troubleshoot complex network problems independently, ensuring minimal disruption to system operations
Support the integration of network components within the CIAT system-of-systems architecture, including IaaS components
Participate actively in Agile team environments, contributing to continuous improvement and project success
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is required
Current security clearance at the Secret level is mandatory
CompTIA Security+ CE Certification is required
Extensive experience with Cisco ACI multi-tenant network environments
Strong proficiency with Cisco IOS/IOS-XE-based switches and routers
Hands-on experience with Cisco Firepower firewalls and Cisco ISE
Proficiency in VMware virtualization technologies, including VM configuration and virtual network switches
Knowledge of ACI Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) network integrations
Skilled in scripting languages such as Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, and Python
Understanding of system-of-systems concepts, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and complex system architectures
Experience working with Linux (RHEL and Ubuntu) and Windows operating systems related to network infrastructure
Excellent documentation, communication, and troubleshooting skills
Preferred
Three to five years of professional experience in networking, IT, or related areas preferred
