Forward Deploy Engineer, Intern
Flow AI is focused on solving reliability issues in generative AI through innovative solutions. They are seeking a Forward Deploy Engineer Intern to rapidly implement AI-assisted coding solutions, ensuring system integrity and quality in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Utilize AI-assisted coding environments (internal tools) to rapidly generate service logic and frontend components based on provided designs
Act as the technical safety net. You must review AI-generated code to catch logic flaws, security vulnerabilities, and subtle hallucinations that strictly functional tests might miss
Connect the application to client data sources (SQL, APIs, Legacy ERPs) and ensure the plumbing works seamlessly
Execute a full build cycle in days. You will take ownership of the code quality and deployment
Identify recurring patterns where the AI struggles and report these to the Core Research team to improve our underlying models
Qualification
Required
Currently a 3rd/4th year Computer Science student or a recent CS graduate
You treat English as a programming language
You know how to structure complex prompts, manage/optimize context windows, and utilize chain-of-thought reasoning to guide the AI toward architectural compliance rather than guessing
You are already using AI tools to code
You know how to prompt an LLM to write a React component or a Python script, and you know how to fix it when it breaks
Proficiency in modern web stacks (React, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL)
You understand how the pieces fit together
You have the ability to read code you didn't write and spot errors quickly
You understand that AI code is 'guilty until proven innocent.'
You are motivated by shipping working products, not just writing lines of code
You have a strong sense in translating business processes and turning them into software features and interfaces
Benefits
Mentorship from world-class AI researchers and Ex-Google/Apple engineers.
Direct exposure to the newest AI coding paradigms before they hit the mainstream market.
