Responsibilities
Design and develop features to create a rich cross-device media experience on Cast Devices
Work with our Media service and hardware partners to create a rich media experience on different Cast Devices
Work across functions and teams including Nest, Assistant, Android, and YouTube, as well as with External Partners (e.g., OEMs and Media Service Providers) to help drive the direction of the Cast ecosystem
Help apply engineering practices to build the foundation of new systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., C++)
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture (e.g., Linux)
Preferred
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field
5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms
Experience working with streaming media
Experience working on client software and with iOT devices
