Responsibilities
Contribute to systems engineering efforts on new development, production, and sustainment programs, ensuring alignment with overall program goals and objectives
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, maintain, and update system requirements, interfaces, verification criteria, and test plans
Perform analyses related to safety, reliability, maintainability, affordability, human factors, survivability, vulnerability, security, and product assurance
Support design reviews, technical assessments, and risk management activities to ensure system integrity and performance
Track and document requirements, risks, issues, opportunities, and technology readiness levels to facilitate informed decision-making
Implement and promote modern systems engineering methodologies, including Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), to improve system design and integration processes
Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders and management
Participate in travel as required for project meetings, site visits, and international collaborations to support program objectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field from an accredited institution
A minimum of two years of relevant engineering experience
Strong analytical skills
Problem-solving abilities
Passion for aerospace technology
Preferred
Active U.S. Security Clearance
Prior experience in systems engineering
Familiarity with aircraft or weapon systems development
Proficiency with modern systems engineering tools such as Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) platforms
Knowledge of programming languages like Python, C++, or JavaScript
Experience with verification and certification efforts in defense systems
