Information Technology & Services

Responsibilities

Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, ensuring adherence to quality standards and program requirements
Lead efforts to resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring mission success and milestone achievement
Serve as a primary technical interface with EO/IR sensor suppliers and coordinate technical activities across teams
Drive technical excellence by establishing and promoting best practices throughout the sensor development lifecycle
Mentor and coach optical sensor engineers, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing
Perform Technical Lead Engineer (TLE) functions, guiding project teams and ensuring technical integrity
Implement process improvements and capture lessons learned for application on future projects
Coordinate with Boeing leadership and customer stakeholders to align technical strategies and resolve issues
Support cost, schedule, and technical objectives through effective planning and resource management
Address and resolve complex technical challenges impacting project timelines and deliverables

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent
9+ years of engineering experience for candidates holding a bachelor's degree
7+ years of engineering experience with a master's degree
4+ years of engineering experience with a PhD
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including planning, organizing, and guiding technical teams through complex problem-solving
Mentoring experience
Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time
Strong communication skills
Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
