Responsibilities
Knowledge of limited areas of the code base and proactively identifies potential problems
Make sure their code is readable and easy to maintain
Identify gaps in assigned tasks leading to refined requirements
Raise awareness of scope creep relating to assigned tasks
Seek to tie stories back to user value and impact for our members and organizers
Is responsible for design, but still does so under guidance
Pick up any story and suggest a solution for completing it
Managing their own priorities in achieving assigned engineering tasks
Primarily working from higher level specs, rather than tightly scope subtasks
A better understanding of how and when to reach out for help
Review other engineers’ code and provide constructive feedback
Proactively reaches out to 'stuck' developers
Qualification
Required
Preferably 3 or more years of experience
Place great value in testing and writing readable, maintainable code
Understand the complexities of developing and maintaining production software
Strong disposition towards collaboration and communication
Familiarity or interest in some of the following: TypeScript, React
Preferably 3+ years of experience with React
