Responsibilities
Calibration Support: Provide sustaining support in the manufacturing area by maintaining calibration processes and working closely with operators and technicians
Equipment Operation: Operate complex backend semiconductor calibration instruments and equipment
Technical Troubleshooting: Address and resolve assembly and calibration process issues using structured problem-solving techniques
Process Improvement: Participate in and implement Lean or Six Sigma projects for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes
CAD Documentation: Create CAD drawings and technical documentation for calibration procedures and fixtures
Initiative: Proactively identify opportunities for improvements, take independent actions, and assess calculated risks
Internship Duration: 6-month Co-op preferred, but open to 12-week summer internships
Qualification
Required
Actively pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering or Material Science
Strong ability to approach and solve complex technical problems methodically
Effective verbal and written communication skills for all organizational levels
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Required knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks
Precision in tasks with the ability to analyze data and draw conclusions
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
US citizen or green card holder
Preferred
Completing coursework within 1 year
Familiarity with Minitab
Tableau knowledge is desirable
