Internship - Test and Finish Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities
Maintain and repair backend semiconductor test equipment through hands-on electrical and mechanical interaction
Develop and execute experiments to commission and validate equipment performance
Analyze and resolve complex technical failures using structured problem-solving techniques
Implement Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to optimize equipment performance
Support the integration of SPC to collect and analyze manufacturing data
Create CAD drawings, Preventative Maintenance documents, and other technical documentation
Work closely with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams for continuous improvement
Internship Duration: 6-month Co-op preferred, but open to 12-week summer internships
Qualification
Required
Actively Pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Material Science, ideally completing coursework within 1 year
Detail-oriented with the ability to use rational thinking to solve technical issues
Strong verbal and written communication at all organizational levels
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD or SolidWorks; familiarity with Minitab and Tableau desirable
Capable of effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
Ability to draw conclusions from gathered and structured data
US citizen or green card holder: This position requires access to documentation that is controlled by the export laws of the United States.
