Responsibilities
Assist in deploying and configuring tools used in software development, including build servers, version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks
Manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructures on AWS or Microsoft Azure, as well as on-premises environments, ensuring high availability and security
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation scripts, and configuration management tools like Ansible to streamline deployment and infrastructure management processes
Support the setup of development and production environments, including deploying application devices and ensuring their optimal operation
Collaborate with teams to establish best practices for provisioning, scaling, and troubleshooting systems, while continuously improving operational processes
Provide guidance and technical support for software development tools such as Jira, GitLab, Artifactory, Confluence, and SonarQube, including maintenance, upgrades, and integration
Develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools to monitor system performance and operational health, enabling data-driven decision-making
Mentor junior team members and development teams, sharing best practices in DevSecOps and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation
Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing the frequency and quality of software releases, reducing manual interventions, and enhancing automation frameworks
Support compliance with security and export control requirements, ensuring all activities meet U.S. government standards and regulations
Qualification
Required
1-3 years of experience working with programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, or Python
A bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited institution
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship
Ability to complete a technical assessment as part of the application process
Preferred
Experience with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
Relevant certifications such as Security+
