Responsibilities
Inspecting engine components during repair, and before final release
Using hand tools and precision measuring equipment such as micrometres, callipers and dial gauges to check dimensions and tolerances
Checking fits and clearances to ensure parts match approved technical data
Identifying and separating any damaged or non-conforming parts
Recording inspection results and completing route tags and paperwork accurately
Ensuring all parts comply with AD notes, OEM instructions and FAA regulations
Certifying serviceable parts once repairs are complete
Maintaining accurate documentation in line with company and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
At least 1 year experience in an engine MRO environment
Familiarity with AD Notes, OEM bulletins and FAA regulations
Ability to read and interpret engine manuals, military and commercial drawings/prints
Proficiency with precision measurement tooling (micrometers, calipers, dial gauges, etc.)
Fluent English communication skills
Preferred
Experience with calibration strongly preferred
