Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI reports and dashboards
Build and optimize data models using Power BI Desktop
Write and optimize DAX measures and calculated columns
Connect to and transform data from multiple sources (SQL databases, Excel, APIs, cloud sources, etc.)
Implement Power Query (M) for data cleansing and transformation
Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into BI solutions
Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and report scalability
Manage Power BI Service (workspaces, datasets, gateways, refresh schedules, row-level security)
Document reports, datasets, and data models
Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support and enhancements

Required

Strong experience with Power BI (Desktop & Service)
Proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M)
Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, relationships, normalization)
Experience with SQL and relational databases
Understanding of data visualization best practices
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and stakeholder collaboration experience

Preferred

Experience with Azure (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory, Dataflows)
Knowledge of SSAS / Tabular models
Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
Familiarity with version control and deployment pipelines
Background in data warehousing or ETL processes
