Responsibilities
Lead the development of project charters and scopes, ensuring the timely delivery of technology solutions that align with construction project schedules and budgets
Ensure alignment with relevant EY stakeholder playbooks for pre-initiate through project closure process’
Execute relevant project management processes, focusing on the integration of technology into construction phases, including scope, cost, time, risk, resource, and stakeholder management
Monitor and control project activities to ensure alignment with technology deployment objectives and construction timelines
Manage risks, issues, and changes across both business and IT components of construction projects
Report variances to the approved project baseline (based on EY’s technology tiering strategy), providing insights into technology integration challenges and successes
Formalize project closure to ensure acceptance of technology solutions and release of project resources
Interface and communicate effectively with project teams, management, and stakeholders to ensure seamless technology deployment
Oversee project work and resources to facilitate the successful and timely implementation of technology solutions
Conduct gate reviews and quality assurance assessments related to technology integration within construction projects
Deliver projects that align with overall business and technology strategies and are implemented according to industry best practices for RE construction projects
Manage external contracts and suppliers as necessary to support technology deployment
Collaborate with project stakeholder teams to develop business cases, focusing on technology solutions that align with stated requirements and offices use
Define project objectives, phases, and content to deliver on business case benefits, budget, and timelines, with a focus on technology integration
Ensure adherence to quality project standards as prescribed by EY Technology through effective implementation of approved processes and methodologies
Qualification
Required
A degree in Computer Science, Construction Management, or a related discipline; or equivalent work experience
15 to 20 years in a corporate IT environment
10 to 15 years of experience in project management, particularly in construction-related IT projects
Relevant experience in technical fields such as deployment/implementation, and infrastructure within the construction industry
Preferred
Project management certification (PMI/CAPM or PMP, PRINCE2)
Familiarity with ITIL v2 or v3
Work experience in a professional services industry, particularly in a construction based technology deployment role
