Responsibilities
Create Python-based applications and systems that form the backbone of our software projects
Ensure functionality, performance, and maintainability through well-structured code
Design, develop, and deploy production-scale Agentic AI workflows and multi-model RAG pipelines using frameworks like LangGraph, with a specific focus on implementing Model Context Protocol (MCP) for low-latency tool integration and real-time inference
Assume leadership positions, providing technical guidance to junior developers
Foster a collaborative environment and ensure adherence to best practices
Work closely with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications
Align software development with business objectives
Conduct code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and suggesting areas for improvement
Uphold best practices and coding standards
Identify and resolve code bugs promptly
Utilize strong problem-solving skills to maintain flawless software operation
Stay up to date with the latest trends and standards in Python development
Familiarize yourself with new technologies and tools
Optimize and test software to ensure functionality and smooth operation
Maintain proper code documentation and technical specifications
Ensure transparency and accessibility for the development team
Own the technical maintenance of products, including bug fixes, refactoring, performance tuning, and framework/library upgrades
Monitor and resolve production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure application stability and reliability post go-live
Support deployments, patches, and version upgrades in coordination with DevOps and Cloud teams
Qualification
Required
5 to 10 years of experience in software development processes
Hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Python
Good knowledge of popular web frameworks and libraries such as Django, Flask, FastAPI, etc
Knowledge of data-processing libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Sklearn, etc.) – a strong plus
A good understanding of RESTful APIs
Good working understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS or Microsoft Azure
Good working understanding of SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc
Experience with Docker
Strong testing and debugging skills
Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
Desire and ability to rapidly learn a wide variety of new technical skills
An analytical mind with strong problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills, both spoken and written
Experience with system architecture
Strong knowledge of software design patterns
Preferred
Knowledge of data-processing libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Sklearn, etc.) – a strong plus
Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.) is a plus
