Licensed Clinical Supervisor
NEOGOV is seeking a Licensed Clinical Supervisor to oversee licensed clinicians and other behavioral healthcare professionals within the County of Santa Clara. The role involves coordinating daily operations, providing clinical supervision, and ensuring compliance with regulations while delivering high-quality behavioral health services to the community.

Responsibilities
Coordinates the day-to-day operations of clinic/program services
Supervises a multi-disciplinary staff of clinicians engaged in assessing social, emotional, and economic causes of problem behavior and mental or emotional disorders and in developing and modifying treatment plans; approves alternate treatment plans and termination or transfer of cases; supervises consultation activities of employees; assigns and reassigns employee caseload, as necessary
Confers with staff regularly regarding techniques used, case progress, and related matters for the purpose of promoting and evaluating professional development and assuring quality of care, as well as reviewing work in progress
Conducts regular case conferences with clinicians and interns for supervision, consultation, and clinical chart audits
Coordinates the assignment of cases, conducts staff meetings, and provides training; schedules staff to provide for clinic coverage; evaluates work performance; assists in disciplinary proceedings
Reviews psychiatric case records and selects cases for discussion
Maintains a small caseload or handles some of the more complex cases; performs a variety of direct clinical, diagnostic, treatment, and outreach services
Ensures compliance with relevant federal, state, and local regulations, as well as departmental and county policies and procedures
Participates in the establishment or revision of policies, procedures, guidelines, goals, and objectives
Provides clinical supervision and consultation to student interns, pre-licensed staff, and other staff on department services, programs, and guidelines
Provides formal, continuing in-service training for clinical and program staff in specialized areas of behavioral health therapy or substance use treatment
Assists with program planning, implementation, and evaluation activities
May participate in community outreach and public relations activities
May be assigned as a Disaster Service Worker (DSW), as required
Performs other related duties, as required
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or related field
Three (3) years of post-license experience as a behavioral health/mental health clinician providing clinical and/or case management services
Possess and maintain one (1) of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Professional Clinical Counselor as issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
Possess a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number, upon appointment, for certain positions
Ability to travel to alternate locations in the course of work
Possession of a valid California driver's license prior to appointment and the ability to qualify for and maintain a County driver authorization
Ability to work in a locked facility, which requires passing a background check for security clearance
Ability to complete all assigned Disaster Service Worker (DSW)-related training, and in the event of an emergency, return to work as ordered
Preferred
Lead or supervisory experience is desirable
