The role involves designing and building scalable software solutions while working across the full stack, including backend, frontend, data, and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Designing and building scalable, high-availability software solutions
Working across backend, frontend, data, and cloud infrastructure
Handling large data sets, real-time and multithreaded systems
Contributing to solution architecture and technical decision-making
Working in a mature Agile / DevOps environment (CI/CD, code reviews, testing)

Qualification

Required

8+ years in software engineering and/or solution architecture
Strong C#/.NET experience (WPF preferred)
Advanced Python
JavaScript with modern frameworks (e.g. React)
SQL plus experience with unstructured data (e.g. MongoDB)
Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
Experience building and integrating REST APIs
Strong grasp of distributed systems and system architecture
Cloud experience, ideally Microsoft Azure

Preferred

Financial mathematics or financial systems exposure
Experience with Portfolio, Order, or Execution Management Systems
Financial optimisation, factor modelling, or performance-critical systems
Performance testing and profiling
Columnar and/or relational databases
