13+ years expHirePeaks Consulting is seeking an Azure VMware Solution Architect to lead complex infrastructure deployments and migrations for large enterprise customers. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to define requirements and strategies for successful cloud migrations to Azure VMware Solution while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Azure and VMware products.

Responsibilities
You will partner with program managers and service delivery teams to plan, architect, and guide complex infrastructure deployments and migrations for large enterprise customers, moving customers from on-premises VMware environments to Azure VMware Solution
You will work directly with customer application, infrastructure, and security stakeholders to define requirements, strategy and processes for successful design, deployment & migrations
Maintain knowledge of the latest on Azure/AVS and VMware products in order to propose designs to customers and act as subject matter trainer for other specialists
Share knowledge with others through solution documents, engage technical communities, build automated self-help solutions, and create training
Qualification
Required
13+ years of IT experience and minimum 3 years of experience on Azure VMware Solution and 5+ years of experience on VMware vSphere, Azure cloud services deployments, and cloud migrations
Relevant experience in architecting and designing datacentre and cloud infrastructures using VMware and Microsoft technologies
Knowledge and implementation experience designing and developing solutions using VMware's Core Cloud Infrastructure
VMware vSphere 6.0 and above
VMware NSX-T network virtualisation technologies
NSX edge services (DNS, DHCP, Gateway Firewall, Distributed Firewall)NSX implementation
NSX migration from VLAN or NSX-v
VMware vSAN
VMware HCX Advanced & Enterprise
Azure ExpressRoute and Azure VPN
Azure Virtual WAN and Azure Route Server
Azure networking
Experience and good understanding of any leading cloud management systems and solutions
Strong core platform architecture concepts, including hardware platform, hypervisor, Networking, security, data protection, high availability, monitoring & alerting, patching, etc
Familiarity with security & compliance standards across a variety of enterprise IT landscapes
Experience with Azure Hosting or an Infrastructure background, and public cloud is highly desired
A good understanding of data centre networking fabric topologies and common architectures deployed, both Layer 2 and Layer 3 based, is highly desired
Strong presentation, influencing and communication skills
BS or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a technology-focused discipline or equivalent experience
Preferred
VMware Site Recovery Manager & vSphere Replication
VMware management suite (vCD, vROps, vRNI, vRLI)
Experience with on-premises-to-Cloud or cloud-to-cloud migrations with VMware HCX
Azure Disk Pools and Azure NetApp Files
Azure Monitoring and Security technologies (Monitor, Arc, Security Center)
3rd party network virtual appliances (firewalls, load-balancers, routers) for Azure and VMware environments
VCDX-DCV/CMA certification is preferred but not required
CCDP, CCNP, and VCP-NV certification is preferred but not required
Experience working with enterprise customers on Azure-specific solutions and deployment
Ability to communicate effectively with corporate customers, possess an understanding of the onboarding process and demonstrate a vision for the future
Excellent customer service skills, good oral and written communication skills, proven ability to handle difficult and sensitive situations involving the most critical and politically charged customer situations, to lead projects and to motivate others
