Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based J2EE applications using best practices
Provide application and production support, including triaging integration issues across multiple systems
Develop and maintain REST and SOAP web services, ensuring seamless integration with other applications
Implement and manage database operations using SQL, MySQL, and PL/SQL stored procedures
Utilize Java frameworks such as Spring (Spring MVC, Spring Boot), JSP, JSF, and Hibernate/JPA for application development
Monitor and troubleshoot production systems using tools like Splunk, Datadog, or similar
Participate in build and deployment activities using tools like Maven and CI/CD pipelines
Apply JEE design patterns, messaging, and SOA principles in real-time application scenarios
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and system reliability
Qualification
Required
15+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development and application support
Strong expertise in Core Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, and SQL databases
Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) domain
Experience with application monitoring and production support tools (Splunk, Datadog, etc.)
Solid understanding of REST/SOAP web services, EJB, and IBM WebSphere platform preferred
Proficiency in build and deployment tools (Maven, CI/CD pipelines)
Strong problem-solving and integration issue triaging skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote PST time zone environment
