PC Technician / Help Desk Support Specialist
Confidential is seeking a hands-on PC Technician / Help Desk Support Specialist to support end users with day-to-day technical issues, including software, hardware, and business application troubleshooting. This role involves providing Tier 1–2 help desk support and maintaining physical PCs in a stable, established business environment.

Responsibilities
Provide Tier 1–2 help desk support (in-person, phone, and remote)
Troubleshoot Windows PCs/laptops and user issues
Perform physical PC maintenance including hardware replacement, upgrades, routine internal/external cleaning of PC towers, cable management, and workstation setup
Build, repair, and upgrade PCs (RAM, SSDs, etc.)
Support printers and scanners (local and network)
Support Microsoft Office
Assist with QuickBooks, CRM platforms, and other business software
Support shipping software including FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip
Support and troubleshoot end-user phone system software and devices (currently Vertical Wave)
Assist with preparation and transition to a future VoIP phone system
Support virtual environments (VMware/Hyper-V or similar)
Assist users with troubleshooting issues related to their live chat software, configuration, and connectivity
Responsibilities may be adjusted or expanded over time to support business needs and system changes
Qualification
Required
1–3 years' experience in a help desk, desktop support, or PC technician role in a business environment
Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills
Familiar with Windows 10/11, Office suites, and printers
Comfortable troubleshooting user-side phone system software, call issues, and devices
Ability to perform hands-on hardware work and physical workstation support
Reliable, organized, and strong communication skills and work ethic
Experience supporting multiple users simultaneously in a production business environment
Self-starter able to work independently, take ownership of tasks, stay on task, and manage priorities without constant supervision
Preferred
Experience supporting QuickBooks and/or CRM platforms preferred
Networking fundamentals
