Customer Service Representative (SAP a plus)

Responsibilities
Maximize customer satisfaction rating by gathering customer information, fulfill customer needs, educate customers including but not limited to product selection, configuration, options, warranty, repair, delivery, price, and credit options
Professionally handle incoming requests from customer and ensure that issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly
Maintain a balance between company policy and customer benefit in decision making handling issues in the best interest of both the customer and company
Maintain customer accounts in SAP ERP system
Perform various functions and tasks within each function including, but not limited to: Sales Order Entry, Inbound Repair Processing, Outbound Repair Shipment Processing, Customer Repair Approvals, and sales shipments
Handle returns and credits
Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer's experience and proficiency within the department
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required

Communication Skills: CSRs need strong communication skills to answer customer clearly. They must understand and communicate effectively in writing, by phone, or in person
Customer Service Skills: Companies rely on customer service to help retain customers by answering questions and complaints in a helpful, professional, and timely manner
Interpersonal Skills: Creating positive interactions with customers is an essential part of a representative's job
Listening Skills: Representatives must listen carefully and understand a customer's situation in order to help them effectively
Patience: Representatives must be patient and polite, especially when interacting with difficult or irate customers
Problem Solving Skills: Representatives must determine solutions to a customer's problem. By resolving issues effectively, representatives contribute to customer loyalty and retention
Experience with SAP ERP required
Strong computer skills
Demonstrated aptitude for attention to detail and thorough follow through
Strong ability to multitask
Works well in a team environment, with the ability to work independently
