Senior Sales Account Manager (Sweden)

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for growth
To build, quickly, trust relationships with key-customer people, including in C-level, addressing properly value for opportunities stakeholders
Act as a strategic advisor to clients, understanding their electrification and decarbonization goals and aligning our solutions to meet their business objectives
To Identify, develop, and establish strategies aligned with the GEV Electrification Business and GSI NSE strategic objectives
To map customer stakeholders’ structure, identifying decision makers, people influence map. To manage promoters and detractors and define relationship strategy to guarantee advantage business positioning
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts and lead commercial negotiations
Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new business opportunities and expand the client base
To develop, structure and deploy sales plan, for the covered market region and/or segment to maximize business results, in terms of volume and profitability
To Identify, evaluate, support and develop strategic alliances & partnerships for the project’s cost efficient and profitable development of business opportunities
Track and report on account performance and pipeline using Salesforce CRM providing strategic insights and recommendations for improvement
Lead the end-to-end account management process—from onboarding to renewals—ensuring a seamless and engaging customer experience
Support 'Commercial Operations Team' in all contract negotiations, maximizing commercial negotiation conditions, risks mitigations and full governance are defined in the contractual documents
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences across Sweden and Northern Europe
Stay up to date on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the electrification and sustainability space
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate degree in electrical, electromechanical, or a related engineering discipline
Minimum of 10 years' experience in B2B account management, preferably within energy, power stability solutions, cleantech, or industrial environments
Proven track record of building, managing, and growing senior client relationships, including engagement with C-level stakeholders
High proficiency in Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex commercial and technical challenges into clear, actionable plans
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
Fluency in Swedish and English
Preferred
Postgraduate qualification in commerce, business, marketing, strategic sales, or finance
Strong customer-centric mindset, with the ability to convert customer needs and issues into profitable business solutions
Advanced negotiation capability and demonstrated leadership presence
Strategic thinker with the ability to turn business development challenges into growth opportunities
Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a consistent “can-do” approach throughout the full business cycle
Proven experience working effectively in multicultural and remote team environments, demonstrating inclusive behaviours
Experience in functional or matrix leadership, with the ability to lead through influence rather than authority
