The role involves blending backend data engineering, AI-assisted workflows, and custom WordPress development to deliver sophisticated financial insights.
Information Services

Responsibilities

Review and enhance WordPress performance, security, caching strategies, and access control
Design and maintain ETL pipelines for large-scale financial datasets using Python and PostgreSQL
Build and expose RESTful APIs to power dynamic tables, reports, and data visualizations
Develop custom WordPress plugins, themes, and blocks for interactive subscriber features
Automate data ingestion, transformation, and publishing workflows
Continuously improve user-facing functionality in collaboration with product stakeholders

Qualification

Required

3+ years of professional software development experience (full-stack or backend-focused)
Advanced WordPress development (custom plugins, REST API usage, performance optimization)
Strong Python background (ETL, APIs, FastAPI) and solid SQL/PostgreSQL knowledge
Experience with AWS infrastructure, including serverless services and Lambda
Proficiency in JavaScript and frontend libraries for data visualization (e.g., tables, charts)
Practical experience integrating AI/LLMs for summarization, NLP, or data querying
English proficiency at B2/C1 level with availability for partial EST overlap

Preferred

Prior exposure to financial or market data systems
Docker and cloud-native workflows
Familiarity with hedge funds, value investing, or alternative investments
