Responsibilities

Perform a variety of strenuous tasks involving manual labor in tower construction projects
Climb up to 500ft and perform job duties at high altitudes
Perform various aspects of tower construction including; assembling/erecting towers, installing antennas, mounting hardware, installing coax and connectors, hybrid cables, grounding, testing, positioning, troubleshoot antennas and lines and perform pre-assembly of antenna systems
Install obstruction lighting beacons, and controls. Install coaxial and hybrid cables from shelter entry ports; mount to ice bridge, trapeze and attach to communication structure (i.e.: rooftop, monopole, self-supporting, etc.)
Safely operate and maintain a variety of equipment under the direction of immediate supervisor
Load, unload, identify and distribute materials to appropriate location according to direction
Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Bring problems to the attention of the Foreman, Safety Director or HR Manager
Must meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
Proficiency in the operation of sweep testing, PIM testing and fiber testing is a plus
Ability to perform fiber testing
Identify essential materials and tools to complete project
Produce quality work in a safe and timely manner
Maintain a positive and professional relationship with all team members and clients
Use personal protective equipment according to task and job location
Lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
Communicate orally and in writing
Use equipment and tools properly and safely
Understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions
Read and understand construction drawings

Required

Valid Driver's License with the ability to pass a driving record check
Must be willing to travel on a weekly basis
All candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical and criminal background check prior to employment
