Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of high-complexity, enterprise-level BI solutions supporting hospital operations, quality, and revenue cycle initiatives
Serve as a subject matter expert for Epic revenue cycle data, advising stakeholders on data interpretation, metrics, and reporting best practices
Develop and optimize BI semantic layers, datasets, dashboards, and reports using SQL and enterprise BI tools
Partner with data engineering and architecture teams to ensure scalable, well-modeled, and governed BI data solutions
Identify gaps in reporting, data quality, and processes; propose and implement improvements aligned with BI and analytics strategy
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to BI team members as needed, reinforcing development standards, documentation, and best practices
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data reporting, in a healthcare environment
3+ years of experience with at least one BI visualization platform (Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau)
Advanced SQL skills including complex querying, performance optimization, and data validation
Demonstrated experience translating business and operational requirements into scalable BI solutions and clearly communicating insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Must have current Epic Revenue Cycle Data Model Certification
Preferred
Experience supporting hospital revenue cycle analytics, including billing, claims, denials, AR, or reimbursement metrics
