Director, UX/UI

Essentials is seeking a Director, UX/UI who will serve as a senior UX leader responsible for defining enterprise UX strategy and implementing Design Ops. The role involves leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver measurable business and customer impact while ensuring intuitive and consistent experiences across digital products.

Responsibilities

Build upon Xpanse’s enterprise UX vision and strategy aligned to business objectives, platform scalability, and customer outcomes, ensuring intuitive, consistent, and measurable experiences across all of our digital products
Actively guide the responsible adoption of AI-enabled design, research, and prototyping tools to improve speed, insight, and design quality, while establishing standards and best practices for their use
Provide executive oversight of design systems and UX governance, ensuring scalable, accessible, and well-adopted systems that align design and engineering across enterprise platforms
Establish UX metrics and KPIs to measure experience quality and business impact, and communicate UX insights to executive stakeholders through data-driven storytelling and strategic recommendations using modern AI tools
Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing UX teams while fostering a culture of experimentation, systems thinking, continuous learning, and modern UX craft with AI powered workflows
Comply with all company policies and procedures
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
Performs other related duties as assigned
This position has direct reports. Manages staff and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field
10+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role
