Mid LevelVidorra Consulting Group is seeking a veteran Infrastructure Professional to provide comprehensive support for a critical data center environment. This role ensures the physical integrity, connectivity, and continuous operation of all mission-critical assets, including servers and networking equipment.

Responsibilities
Hardware Lifecycle: Perform racking, un-racking, packing, and shipping of Servers, Switches, Routers, Firewalls, and Blade Chassis
Infrastructure Maintenance: Manage Labeling, Cabling, and validation of wires; perform power cycling and soft-booting of hardware
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate asset records, manage spare inventory (Fiber cables, connectors), and handle commissioning/decommissioning processes
Troubleshooting: Assist Network, Unix, Storage, and Security teams with physical installs and remote maintenance via Keyboard Video Mouse (KVM) migration
Facility Oversight: Monitor Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), power generators, and Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) systems
Vendor Coordination: Liaise with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) for spares and parts procurement
Qualification
Required
Expertise in Physical Layer components: cables, connectors, jacks, and fiber optics
Deep knowledge of Server and Network Hardware architecture
Proficiency in Asset Management Systems and port density/availability tracking
Strong understanding of Dual Power Supply configurations and inlet/outlet power loads
Advanced communication skills for internal and external customer coordination
