Responsibilities
Verify drawings prior to release for fabrication
Evaluate the process requirements of drawings
Process jobs creating job travelers with specific operations from start to finish
Order fabrications and machining based on project timelines and scheduled needs
Communicate with the various vendors to achieve the best possible price and delivery
Process fabricated spare parts orders as required
Track all incoming fabrications and machined parts to timeline requirements
Interface with all departments to resolve any issues dealing with the machining and fabrications
Support all quality systems requirements
Update order entry and status of components both sourced internally and externally
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
5+ years' experience with machine tool equipment processing and fabrication
ERP experience
Problem solving and analysis
Communication proficiency
Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
