Responsibilities
Participate in full SDLC: requirements – design – development – testing – deployment
Build Appian objects: SAIL UIs, interfaces, expression rules, process models, record types, integrations, constants, groups, security models
Design and develop integrations (REST APIs, Webhooks, Document services, Entra/Okta/SharePoint/DocuSign/Salesforce)
Create and optimize database objects (tables, views, stored procedures)
Ensure adherence to Appian best practices, design standards, governance, and compliance
Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and resolution of workflow issues
Support production applications with L2/L3 issue resolution
Prepare architecture documentation and participate in peer reviews
Work with testing teams to validate end-to-end workflows and UI behaviors
Maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes across environments
Collaborate with business teams to refine requirements and translate into scalable designs

Strong knowledge of Appian architecture, process models, SAIL, records, data sync, integration objects
Familiarity with Appian best practices and performance tuning
SQL proficiency (MariaDB)
Experience with REST APIs, integration design, and troubleshooting
Solid understanding of BPM concepts, workflow automation, and UI/UX patterns
Experience with Git, DevOps, Agile, testing frameworks
Preferred
Appian Associate / Senior / Lead Developer Certification
Experience with RPA products (AppianRPA, Selenium, Cucumber)
Experience with .NET, Java, Python, or other full-stack languages
Experience in financial services, compliance, or regulated industries
Experience with Appian upgrades, data migration, and Process HQ
