Responsibilities

Manage Engineering & Design: Oversee all engineering and design efforts throughout project phases, ensuring compliance and timely delivery
Technical Drawing Review: Create and review drawings to maintain project timelines and accuracy
Support Construction: Provide technical assistance during construction to ensure designs are implemented effectively
Decision Making: Evaluate trade-offs related to cost, schedule, and performance to meet project objectives
Resolve Technical Issues: Lead RFI resolutions, review submittals, and support weekly construction calls
Risk Management: Maintain the project risk register and communicate risks to stakeholders
Equipment & Design Review: Approve equipment drawings, ensure constructability, and review designs for code compliance
Vendor & Consultant Management: Build and manage relationships with vendors and consultants

Qualification

Solar project engineeringNational Electrical Code (NEC)AutoCadPVSystProCoreAnalytical skillsProblem-solving skillsOrganizational skillsCommunication skillsDetail-orientedCollaborative mindset

Required

3–4+ years of experience in solar project engineering, EPC construction, or related technical role
Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Detail-oriented with a proactive and collaborative mindset
Software/tools expertise with the following, or comparable: AutoCad, PVSyst, Excel, Smartsheets, ProCore, SiteTracker, etc
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a good driving record

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline preferred
NABCEP certification a plus
