Responsibilities
Provide design work for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems in complex industrial facilities
Contribute to team technical collaboration and perform quality reviews of design packages
Assist directly with other portions of the design process and interact with clients, owners, and contractors to assist construction on site
Establish design requirements and produce construction documents in collaboration with the broader multi-discipline team
Manage quality, scope, budget, and schedule for projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
At least 6 year experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems, building electrical systems, and campus-style power distribution including conveyance
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Extensive knowledge of and experience with industrial facility design
Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
At least 3 years of data center facility design experience
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
Passionate about buildings and construction
Experience in the design of large projects established on greenfield sites
