Responsibilities
Work directly with the Project Manager, taking the approved Bill of Materials for a site, and then start the procurement process
Follow the entire lifecycle of the item, from Purchase request to Purchase Order, to vendor confirmation and delivery, to Goods Receipts, Invoicing, and to closeout
Review each item daily and checking the status, updating multiple data points, and working through friction points to ensure delivery in a timely manner
Juggle hundreds of BOM’s, quotes, and Purchase Orders
Have good communication skills to talk with vendors and internal customers
Eventually become self-sufficient and operate with little guidance as you conduct daily check points
