VIOP Therapist & Program Coordinator

Aster Springs Outpatient offers personalized, evidence-based treatment for eating disorders in a supportive, trauma-informed environment. The VIOP Therapist & Program Coordinator is responsible for providing clinical services within a virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (VIOP) for eating disorders, including individual and group therapy, documentation, and care coordination while also supporting program development and administrative operations.

Responsibilities

Provide individual therapy and serve as primary clinical contact for assigned clients
Facilitate virtual group therapy (initially two evening sessions per week)
Complete assessments, treatment plans, documentation, and discharge summaries on time
Coordinate with outpatient providers, families, and referral partners
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment teams and assist with insurance utilization management
Deliver evidence-based eating disorder treatment via virtual platforms
Collaborate with leadership to build and standardize VIOP structure, workflows, and offerings
Support development of group schedules, virtual care guidelines, and program processes
Participate in quality improvement, outcomes tracking, and program evaluation
Assist with onboarding/training of future VIOP clinicians as the program expands
Represent VIOP internally and externally to enhance visibility and referrals
Conduct VIOP intakes and manage onboarding documentation, orientation, and scheduling
Maintain medical records in compliance with HIPAA and accreditation standards
Coordinate with billing partners for accurate documentation and claim processes
Track census, intakes, and operational data with accuracy and organization
Serve as point of contact for logistics-related client/family questions
Support admissions coordination and referral communication
Assist with transition of administrative duties as census grows

Required

Master's or doctoral degree in a mental health field
Independent clinical license (LPC, LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, PhD, PsyD)
Ohio & Indiana licensure strongly preferred (or willingness to obtain)
PSYPACT eligibility highly advantageous
Willingness to pursue additional licensure as program expands
Minimum 2 years clinical experience; 1+ year eating disorder experience strongly preferred
Experience at IOP/PHP/Residential levels preferred
Proficiency with telehealth platforms and clinical documentation
Ability to work full-time in a remote environment with reliable internet access and private workspace
Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use
Ability to communicate effectively via video, phone, and electronic systems
