Responsibilities
Lead and deliver complex AWS cloud platform initiatives across multiple engineering teams
Own program planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication
Partner with senior engineers and architects to define secure, scalable cloud architectures
Drive multi-account AWS governance, security, and compliance standards
Coordinate cross-functional teams in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
Present status, risks, and recommendations to executive and CTO-level leadership
Qualification
Required
15+ years of experience in IT engineering, cloud program leadership, or technical program management
Deep hands-on knowledge of AWS architecture, including: IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, KMS, Secrets Manager, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Multi-account AWS governance
Strong experience delivering cloud platform capabilities consumed by multiple engineering teams
Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK preferred), Terraform, CI/CD, and secure cloud automation
Proven ability to lead highly senior engineers and technical teams
Experience managing programs with strict security, regulatory, or audit requirements (finance, DoD, or similar)
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Experience with AWS CDK, reusable cloud constructs, and platform blueprints
AI/ML platform experience (SageMaker, inference endpoints, MLOps)
Background in highly regulated industries (banking, trading, defense, healthcare)
