Engineering Coordinator
The Lignum Group is seeking an Engineering Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of their engineering team. This role focuses on coordinating activities, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with administrative requirements while supporting engineering leadership and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Coordinate daily engineering activities to ensure priorities, deadlines, and deliverables are clearly tracked and communicated
Support and supervise in-office engineering staff, promoting a healthy team dynamic and effective collaboration
Schedule onboarding, training sessions, and project review meetings
Track attendance, temporary employee timesheets, and contractor invoices
Plan or delegate team activities, welcome lunches, travel arrangements, and internal events
Maintain accurate project tracking data to provide visibility into workload and progress
Implement and maintain administrative policies, procedures, and standards
Support procedure creation and management, including SOP development in collaboration with technical teams
Ensure engineering operations align with internal systems, compliance standards, and best practices
Support compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies
Maintain awareness of ISO 9001 requirements and assist with audits, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts
Report quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel
Coordinate engineering functions across quality assurance, testing, production, and R&D
Provide application engineering support for products serving the Mission Critical / Data Center environment
Assist with the development of technical documentation and white papers
Monitor trends in data center design and support R&D efforts responding to market needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering-related field
Minimum of 2 years' experience in an engineering, operations, coordination, or supervisory role
Strong people management, supervisory, and leadership skills
Experience working in structured, process-driven environments
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams)
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or quality management systems strongly preferred
