Technical Analyst - Registrar

Responsibilities
Support technology functions within the Registrar's Office in the following ways: enrollment reporting for financial aid purposes; generating and managing automated processes in SU's SIS (PeopleSoft); supporting other programming and technology needs; filtering and manipulating data to meet changing reporting criteria and demands; exploring system-delivered enhancements and their setup and configuration; providing technical business requirements and details for system enhancements; testing and validating SIS enhancements; constructing queries; and troubleshooting data/processes/systems as directed within the Registrar's Office
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/Computer Applications or related field
3 years in technical support or related field
Must be detail-oriented and have excellent organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving, follow through, and time management skills
Must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, independently, and in a team-oriented environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required
Preferred
Technical background with Peoplesoft's academic advising and student records modules
Working knowledge of SQL and JIRA
Familiarity with Peoplesoft academic structure
