Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end planning and execution of AWS infrastructure and cloud migration projects
Create detailed project plans, scope documents, timelines, and resource allocations
Coordinate cross-functional teams including Cloud Engineers, DevOps, Security, and Development
Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers, and drive mitigation strategies
Conduct regular project reviews, track progress, and ensure timely delivery against milestones
Manage vendor relationships, third-party integrations, and procurement processes when necessary
Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable AWS solutions
Understand and guide architecture discussions involving services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, ECS/EKS, and others
Support the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring solutions, and infrastructure automation
Ensure best practices in cloud security, compliance, performance, and cost optimization
Act as the primary bridge between business, engineering, and leadership teams
Communicate project status, risks, and decisions through dashboards and reports
Facilitate technical and non-technical discussions to maintain alignment across all parties
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clarity on requirements and outcomes
Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies and implement project management best practices
Improve internal processes, documentation, and delivery standards
Encourage a culture of quality, automation, and operational excellence
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
6+ years of project management experience, with 3+ years focused on cloud infrastructure projects
Hands-on understanding of AWS services, architectures, and cloud-native design patterns
Experience working with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Preferred
AWS certifications such as: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
Experience in large-scale cloud migrations or modernization initiatives
Knowledge of security frameworks (SOC2, ISO27001, HIPAA) and cloud governance
Technical background (hands-on engineering experience is a plus)
Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus)
