Responsibilities
Performing and leading consulting engagements related to power grid analysis and design, system dynamics and transients, system interconnection, and grid code compliance
Managing project execution, tracking project progress, and making necessary adjustments to maintain scope, schedule, budget, and quality
Maintaining relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for further business
Supporting proposal preparation by developing project plans, budgets, and timelines
Providing mentoring and technical development to junior consultants
Developing automation scripts to streamline repetitive tasks, reduce errors, and boost overall efficiency
Delivering on-site consulting and training services
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering required, with a specialization in Power and Energy Systems preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience performing power systems analysis for electric utilities, RTOs, and developers
Experience analyzing power flow and dynamic stability using PSS®E, TSAT™, TARA, PSLF™, or PowerWorld
Good knowledge of NERC Reliability Standards with understanding of RTO and other regional planning criteria, procedures, and practices
Strong communication, presentation, and listening skills with demonstrated ability to write effective technical reports
Ability to travel 10% domestically and internationally
Preferred
Consulting experience in the power systems or energy sector
Experience with MISO and/or SPP planning and interconnection processes
