The Louisiana Department of Treasury is the financial backbone of the state, safeguarding and optimizing the use of public funds. This position will be responsible for the development and oversight of a transparency site that will allow the public to compare K-12 Louisiana School Systems.

Responsibilities

Serves as project manager for the Louisiana K-12 Transparency Site
Obtains, reviews, and analyzes performance data and K-12 salary report data for posting on the site
Makes recommendations on metrics of interest to the public
Serves as the interface between the Department of Treasury, Department of Education, and business managers of each school system
Reviews and analyzes documentation and performance data submitted by school systems to verify compliance with Act 370 of the 2023 Regular Session

Required

Four years of experience in administrative services
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus one year of experience in administrative services
A bachelor's degree plus one year of experience in administrative services
An advanced degree
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field
