Power BI Development
Build and maintain Power BI datasets, dashboards, and reports
Create scalable models using DAX, Power Query, and best practices
Establish governance, naming conventions, and refresh schedules
Optimize reports for usability and accuracy
Data Modeling
Define, map, and normalize data elements across operational systems
Collaborate with technical teams to structure data warehouse sources
Develop semantic models, fact tables, dimensions, and relationships
Validate accuracy and integrity of data flows
Business Operations Partnership
Engage with leaders across all departments to identify reporting needs
Lead KPI discovery workshops and define operational targets
Build a KPI catalog and enterprise data dictionary
Translate requirements into technical specifications
Reporting Strategy & Execution
Develop and maintain the enterprise reporting roadmap
Deliver dashboards covering operations, revenue, quality, SLAs, and strategic insights
Ensure consistent KPI definitions across departments
Train teams on dashboard usage and insights
Continuous Improvement & Governance
Maintain data governance policies and standards
Automate manual reports with self-service analytics
Recommend operational improvements backed by data
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering
Hands-on expertise in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, semantic modeling, dataset design)
Strong SQL skills; familiarity with data warehouse design (facts/dimensions, star schema)
Experience gathering requirements and translating them into structured data definitions
Ability to understand business workflows and define KPIs
Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to lead sessions independently
Experience explaining technical concepts to non-technical leaders
