InternChildren's National Hospital is seeking a Cybersecurity Intern to join their dynamic Cybersecurity team for a hands-on summer internship. This program provides exposure across multiple domains and allows interns to collaborate on real-world projects that strengthen security posture and protect critical systems.

Responsibilities
Work and communicate with internal and external customers and staff to meet their needs in a polite, courteous, and cooperative manner
Express information to individuals or groups effectively, whether verbal or written in a clear, convincing and organized manner
Listen to others and respond appropriately
Make an effort to follow policy and cooperate with supervisors
Refer non-standard questions and problems to higher levels
Use resources and equipment needed to perform each task
Use established filing and data systems, functions, and/or procedures
Speak up when team members appear to exhibit unsafe behavior or performance
Continuously validate and verify information needed for decision making or documentation
Stop in the face of uncertainty and takes time to resolve the situation
Demonstrate accurate, clear and timely verbal and written communication
Actively promote safety for patients, families, visitors and co-workers
Attend carefully to important details - practicing Stop, Think, Act and Review in order to self-check behavior and performance
Qualification
Required
Motivated undergraduate students entering their junior or senior year
Strong interest in cybersecurity, analytics, and technology operations
Demonstrate curiosity, adaptability, and excellent communication skills
Familiarity with networking fundamentals, operating systems, and basic security concepts
